We are looking for a Project Manager (m/w)

to join our team in Frankfurt am Main, Hessen, Deutschland

The new International Financial Reporting Standard 17 (IFRS 17) will significantly change the way insurance contracts are measured and reported on. Under IFRS 17, insurers in more than 100 countries will need to update their systems, adopt new processes and, above all, improve integration between actuaries and finance. FIS' Insurance Prophet is a world class enterprise-wide actuarial modelling system used by the financial services industry around the world to model companies’ financial business.

Here you will work as project manager and will be responsible for the customer focused implementation of national and international projects in the insurance branch.

You will be working with both the internal and the customer project teams and you are responsible for:

  • Planning, managing and reporting of projects
  • Financial setup and management of projects, to business margin requirements 
  • Building, steering and developing of the project teams
  • Ensuring of service quality and customer satisfaction under consideration of limitation through project scope, deadlines, risk, resources and quality
  • Continuous consulting and support of our customer
  • Developing of customer relationships
  • Enlargement of our business
  • Furthermore you get the opportunity, to actively take part into the future development of our business

Candidate Requirements

  • Diploma, Bachelor or Master in: applied computer science, Industrial engineering with Business Studies, business administration or comparable qualification
  • Several years of experience as project manager with budget and resource responsibility
  • In-depth knowledge or certificates of project management methodologies are favorable
  • Knowledge in at least of these areas:
  • IT basic technologies, Network technologies, procedure models for software development
  • Processes of insurance branch
  • Front office/ back office systems
  • Knowledge of change-, risk-, contract, claims- and escalation management
  • Self-subsistent, goal-oriented and structured approach of work
  • Power of persuasion, self-assured manner, service- and customer-focus thinking and acting
  • High learning ability and grasp
  • Fluent German and English (other languages are of advantage)
  • Willingness to travel and EU work permit
