An exciting and challenging role for a (Business) Risk Manager within Credit Suisse Trust Group based in Zurich. Become part of a dynamic team in a professional, experienced and well established environment, working closely with centralized functions and management teams. Insights into a wide product shelf within Credit Suisse Trust Group (CSTG) with a focus on Trust business and its processes.
In this role you will be responsible to:

  • Contribute to the entire chain of operational risk management and control - identification, assessment, monitoring and mitigation - within the 1st Line of Defense
  • Support the annual execution of Risk and Controls Self Assessments (RCSA) and ensure the timely implementation of control improvement plans
  • Run day-to-day operational risk management by closely interacting with the business on regular as well as ad hoc analysis and regular reporting
  • Perform root cause analysis of operational risk incidents and track measures agreed to remediate processes and potential control gaps
  • Support the organization in ensuring adherence to processes, directives and best practice;
  • Support the business during internal and external audits, proactively track resulting audit points and contribute to verification reviews
  • Maintain a globally consistent, effective and commonly accepted (supervisory) control framework
  • Contribute to maintaining and improving the firm's Risk Culture by designing risk awareness campaigns, alerts, newsletters and best practice guidelines etc.


You Offer
  • A University degree, ideally enhanced with further relevant education
  • At least 5 years of Banking or Insurance experience supplemented with Business/Operational Risk Management, Legal, Compliance or Audit experience in a global organization
  • Sound knowledge and familiarity with Trust business and related processes and duties
  • Ability to understand and challenge the design but also the completion of processes and controls
  • Experience in precise documentation but also high level presentations
  • Distinct social, analytical and problem solving skills, used to pro-actively address open questions
  • A strong and confident communication style, persuasive power allowing a focused though precise style tailored to the various recipients
  • Fluency in German and English (oral and written) is a must
