Our exclusive client is a leading global banking institution operating in over 100 countries and employing over 100,000 people. They operate across a wide range of Investment, Corporate and Consumer banking globally. They are seeking to appoint a Regional head of workspace based in Singapore.

The workspace service team is responsible for among others, Service Desk function, end users support, telephony & video services, VIP Executive Support, electronic communication platform, collaboration tools and a host of other critical technology infrastructure like Active Directory, mobility solutions, Hosted Virtual Desktops and innovative printing solutions

Key Responsibilities

  • Leads the regional Workspace Services team and aligning the team to deliver services effectively
  • Able to make decisions with complex reasoning and sound judgment. Decisions affect the workspace services team and may also affect the Bank.
  • Works with business stakeholders and executives to identify opportunities to offer new innovative service offerings, automation, and self-servicing in support of their strategic direction
  • Partner with peers within and outside of workspace services teams to proactively develop plans for new product and service offerings, prepare Line of Business at the bank to adopt those services seamlessly, and drive value realization
  • Leads a culture that drives risk management mindsets, innovative and strong focus on production stability and cost effectiveness
  • Strong focus on continuous improvement with a customer-first attitude
  • Lead project planning and management for complex portfolio of projects
  • Provide management of staff including metrics based performance management, strategic skills development, career development, coaching and mentoring

The Successful Candidate

  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • Minimum of 15+ years of experience including 5+ years of team and people leadership responsibilities
  • Strong business acumen, financial knowledge and analytical skills
  • Good knowledge of regional financial regulators (e.g. MAS, HKMA, FAS etc.)
  • ITIL Certified
  • Experienced in desktop support and mobile device support, and solid understanding of network infrastructure
  • Experienced in end user support including executive support, end user infrastructure support (e.g. Desktops/Laptop device), quality assurance and deployment
  • Experienced in voice support and voice systems
  • Ability to conduct independent research and help develop strategic objectives and direction
