The purpose of the role is to support and in some cases lead the development of the analytical models, reports and dashboards that support marketing decision making, In particular, this role will own the econometric models that Consumer Marketing are developing with the Brand team to improve advertising performance. It is anticipated that several econometric models will be developed to answer a wide range of critical advertising/marketing questions.

General Marketing Analytics

  • Using a data-driven approach, help to identify opportunities to improve our analysis driven marketing approach
  • Support the 'test and learn' standards and philosophy team with reports and dashboards
  • Contribute to the development of a numbers driven / analytics approach tomarketing for D2C

Econometrics for Advertising

  • Devolop Econometrics models for Consumer Marketing and Group Brand teams.
  • Become an expert in the relevant econometrics software
  • Understand key stakeholder questions to be addressed via the modelling.
  • Develop and produce reports/presentations to help business understand the model findings and make better decisions on advertising spend
  • Understand current and future data needs to improve models

Attribution Modelling for Marketing

  • Support and develop attribution models for Consumer Marketing.
  • Develop an understand of the different attribution modelling techniques
  • Understand key stakeholder questions to be addressed via the modelling.
  • Develop and produce reports/presentations to help business understand the model findings and make better decisions on advertising spend
  • Understand current and future data needs to improve models

Functional or Technical Knowledge and Skills Required

  • Experience of applying data analytics to solve business problems.
  • Good understanding of regression modelling techniques preferably including econometric modelling
  • Good understanding of some BI and analytics tools, including Tableau, SQL, R and Python.
  • Ability to collate, distil and analyse data to generate insights.
  • Experience of analysing large data sets.
  • Ideally, some exposure to marketing channels and techniques for evaluating their effectiveness
