SWIB’s Information Technology Division is seeking a Systems Analyst to join its team. The incumbent will be responsible for operations support and systems administration for the organization’s applications and systems.

Essential activities:

  • Provide primary support for SWIB’s Investment Management system and trading desk
  • Provide support in the day-to-day operations of applications and batch scheduling tools
  • Plan, create, and coordinate automated jobs
  • Monitor incoming and outgoing data delivery and resolve issues
  • Manage software releases to production environments
  • Evaluate system utilization, monitor response time and provide support for detection and correction of operational issues
  • Research, analyze, recommend, configure, install, and test new software
  • Create and keep up to date concise documentation and procedure manuals
  • Maintain operational control over use and program security

 

 

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or similar, preferred
  • Knowledge of trading or finance, preferred
  • Experience using development and database tools
  • Excellent customer service demeanor
  • Excellent documentation skills
  • Familiarity with investment systems and integration
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • An ability to be adaptive and thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Superb work ethic, attention to detail, team orientation, and commitment to excellence

The position requires U.S. work authorization and residency in, or willingness to relocate to, the Madison, Wisconsin area. SWIB is prepared to offer relocation assistance as needed.
