C# Software Developer
Location: Sydney
Employment type: Permanent, full-time
A leading global trading firm is seeking an experienced C# Developer to build business-critical applications supporting real-time trading.
You’ll work across server-side systems and user interfaces, developing highly available applications covering market data, trading analysis, monitoring and real-time messaging. You’ll own projects throughout the full development lifecycle and work closely with traders, quantitative analysts and other engineers.
Key requirements
- 5+ years of professional C# development experience
- Strong server-side engineering skills
- Experience with multithreading, concurrency or real-time systems
- Knowledge of object-oriented design, profiling and performance optimisation
- Some client-side or UI development experience
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- A relevant technical degree
Experience with WPF, .NET Core on Linux, React, TypeScript or JavaScript would be beneficial.
Financial-services experience is not required. Candidates from other technically demanding industries are encouraged to apply.
Applicants must currently be based in Australia and be open to a full-time role in Sydney.
