What it's about
In this role, you are responsible for the Firm's sales strategy for Switzerland and Europe and for building new and expanding existing client relationships with institutional clients, banking partners, foundations, family offices and UHNWIs in close collaboration with Partners Group's European Client Relationship Management team.
You will be responsible for all fund raising activities in Switzerland/Europe for our integrated impact offerings (multi-asset class funds), impact credit strategies as well as customized mandates, both directly (own clients), as well as indirectly through Partners Group's Client Relationship Management team (joint clients). You will also be supporting the development of new impact products and other business development activities of the Firm. The role is reporting directly to the CEO of PG Impact Investments.
  • Developing and executing the Firm's sales strategy for Switzerland and Europe
  • Broadening of existing and acquisition of new clients (institutional, foundations, family offices, UHNWIs)
  • Organizing, initiating and leading client events and roadshows
  • Reply to RFPs and DDQs
  • Developing and managing relationships with distributors and bank partners
  • Pro-active investment sourcing from clients, prospects, GPs and other industry contacts
  • Support the development of new investment solutions and other business development activities
  • Support impact-related marketing/sales activities of Partners Group as representative of PG Impact Investments
What we expect
For this challenging position, we are looking for a person who works well in a very entrepreneurial organization, someone who possesses strong networking and organizational skills.
The successful candidate should have the following profile:
  • Graduate degree (e.g. university, MBA) from top ranking academic institutions
  • At least 5-8 years relevant experience in private markets (private equity and/or private debt)
  • Demonstrable specialist knowledge in the area of responsible and impact investing
  • Thorough knowledge on the Swiss/European impact investing markets
  • Proven fundraising track record for private markets impact offerings with focus on institutional clients
  • Excellent communication skills and a distinct client orientation
  • Self-motivated, strong team player, willing to learn and high interpersonal skills
  • Capable of working efficiently and accurately in a demanding environment, even under pressure
  • High level of flexibility and willingness to travel regularly
  • Very good language skills in German (mother tongue) and English (written and spoken)
