Our dynamic and fast-paced Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team operates in a high-impact environment. It plays a pivotal role in supporting the Executive Group in making commercial decisions for our growing and complex business.

Connect to your opportunity



You will form part of a team that has been designed to measure economic and business trends, review past performance and attempt to anticipate obstacles and potential challenges and opportunities. All with an eye toward forecasting the firm's future financial results. And making this insight available to the firm's Executive Leadership Team.





  • System Administration support for the planning and forecasting lead in preparation of the firms annual budget and rolling forecasts.

  • Act as the key liaison between Finance users and the Anaplan build/support teams, translating financial and business requirements, system issues and enhancement requests into clear technical requirements.

  • Use strong analytical and problem-solving skills to investigate issues, identify root causes, communicate effectively with both financial and non-financial stakeholders, and drive timely resolution of system and process challenges.

  • Your role will enable Business aligned finance teams and FP&A leadership to understand financial performance, driving and tracking actions to deliver our strategic priorities and key targets

  • Provide the FP&A leadership team with timely, insightful analysis and proposals to enhance the functionality of the Anaplan system.

  • Participate in cross team projects, providing ad hoc financial modelling and analysis as required

The role would suit a recent graduate who would like to develop their career in a professional services firm and support is available to those interested in a professional accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA)




Essentials:



  • Understanding of accounting principles, management accounting, forecasting, budgeting and analysis across the income statement, balance sheet and key financial drivers (or a strong aptitude to learn).

  • Strong communications skills, with the ability to develop effective relationships with all levels across the business.

  • An ability to work effectively within the team as well as being able to work on own initiative.

  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with the ability to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines.

  • Problem solving and analytical thinking, with the ability to investigate issues, identify root causes and propose practical solutions.

  • Attention to detail, ensuring planning data, assumptions and system outputs are accurate and reliable.




Desirables:



  • Experience of planning and forecasting processes, preferably using Anaplan.

  • Experience of requirement gathering, data analysis, and creating reports.

  • Advanced spreadsheet and presentation skills.

  • Experience of working in a professional services organisation is preferred but not essential .
