About The Role
Role Location: ANZ London, United Kingdom
Role Type: Permanent, Full Time role

As an Associate Director for Group Funding and Balance Sheet Management, you will manage the activities of Group Treasury’s London funding desk. You are expected to develop and execute strategies that provide ANZ with access to global wholesale capital markets for commercial paper, senior and subordinated term debt, and structured funding in order to meet the Group’s current and future funding needs. You will support the Australian Balance Sheet in managing the balance of the RBA Exchange Settlement Account during the Australian RBA Summer Payments Period. You will also be responsible for driving the balance sheet efficiency within the region, while ensuring the compliance with both internal and regulator liquidity and capital requirements.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following -
  • Proven experience in Treasury and Balance Sheet Management
  • Solid understanding of liquidity, capital, interest rate risk, RWA forecasting and balance sheet optimisation
  • Highly knowledgeable in global capital markets, practices and processes
  • Significant experience in a front office or financial markets environment
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, including the ability to prepare and deliver strategic presentations to CEO’s, Country Heads and Regulators
  • Exceptional analytical capabilities to value-add in group decision-making process
