We are working with a Geneva based private markets investment firm. Their investment platform provides access to real estate and private equity primaries, secondaries and co-investment opportunities to institutional and private investors.

They are keen to bring on board an Investor Relations / Business Development professional. In this role, you will focus on developing the investor base by being the key contact for all private market investment solutions across existing and new partnerships. You will be involved throughout the sales process and act as a subject matter specialist alongside broader sales professionals. In addition, you will lead efforts to attract new institutional clients.

  • Take responsibility for capital raising from private and institutional investors
  • Develop relations with the network of private bankers / distribution professionals, train and educate them on the private markets product suite
  • Attend client meetings to discuss the solutions and convert leads into commitments
  • Maintain on-going relations, support on queries, performance reviews, etc
  • Prepare all necessary marketing and IR documentation ahead of investor meetings
  • Take initiative on the institutional market, identify new opportunities and convert them into clients.

  • Established fundraiser / IR professional with a track record distributing private markets solutions
  • Some network within the institutional space would be preferred
  • Strong understanding of clients' needs and challenges for investing in private markets
  • Proficient and confident communicator in French and good command of English
  • Self-starter with a hands-on approach
