Opal ANZ is an industry-leading paper and packaging business. We have an exciting opportunity to join our recycling business team, as we are currently looking for an Operations Manager to come onboard!



Based at our site in Altona, VIC. The key focus of this role will be to:

• Overseeing contractors, equipment, supply chain and customer service


• Sourcing and engaging of contractor services required to provide collection services


• Managing sourcing, servicing and repairs of equipment provided to customers


• Resolving customer complaints and service problems


• Planning, scheduling and managing inventory flow to achieve required business outcomes


• Ensuring supply chain logistics and processing is timely, cost effective and reliable


• Focus on continuous improvement methodologies to drive business efficiencies

Specifically, for this role, we expect you will have;

• Transport, Logistics and/ or Depot experience (preferably in recycling, waste management or other service type environment)


• Experience in managing or leading a team, either a directly or indirectly


• Experience in developing relationships at multiple levels of an organisation, both internally and externally


• The ability to utilize and present data, to drive informed decision-making


• Prior experience utilizing ERP systems such as SAP and Sales Force (or similar)


• Ability to build and sustain key strategic business relationships


• Proven conflict resolution and problem-solving ability
