C# Software Developer

Location: Sydney

Employment type: Permanent, full-time

A leading global trading firm is seeking an experienced C# Developer to build business-critical applications supporting real-time trading.

You’ll work across server-side systems and user interfaces, developing highly available applications covering market data, trading analysis, monitoring and real-time messaging. You’ll own projects throughout the full development lifecycle and work closely with traders, quantitative analysts and other engineers.

Key requirements

1. 5+ years of professional C# development experience
2. Strong server-side engineering skills
3. Experience with multithreading, concurrency or real-time systems
4. Knowledge of object-oriented design, profiling and performance optimisation
5. Some client-side or UI development experience
6. Strong communication and problem-solving skills
7. A relevant technical degree

Experience with WPF, .NET Core on Linux, React, TypeScript or JavaScript would be beneficial.

Financial-services experience is not required. Candidates from other technically demanding industries are encouraged to apply.
