Eight Advisory was founded in 2009 in France by 8 former partners of Arthur Andersen / Big4 companies as a firm specialized in Transaction Services, Restructuring, and Transformation. We are currently looking for an ambitious and diligent individual to join our Strategy team in Cologne as an Intern from January 2027 (3-6 months). The Strategy team in Cologne mainly provides buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence services to support its private equity and corporate clients in M&A processes.

As an Intern, you will:

• Collaborate in an exclusive environment to assess, plan, conceptualize, and implement M&A deals (e.g., carve-outs, integrations, joint ventures) and other complex business transformations (e.g., reorganizations, value creation) for national and global corporate and private equity clients

• Work closely with partners and directors, gaining direct responsibility on projects and learning from their extensive buy- and sell-side M&A experience

• Receive continuous support from a dedicated mentor for professional and personal development

To ensure that we find the best candidate for this position, we expect the following from our future intern:

• Pursuing a Master's degree in economics, engineering, science, business administration, or business economics from a top tier university or business school with excellent grades

• Motivated, proactive, and reliable

• Strong problem-solving skills and creativity

• High level of attention to detail and accuracy

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Fluent in German and English

• Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)

• Financial and analytical skills are a plus

• Available for a minimum 3-month internship

• Previous internship or work experience in a related field is a plus
