Who can apply?
To be considered for an assignment, you will:

Have the commitment and mobility to work overseas for up to two years
People between 18 and 28 years old
French citizens or nationals of member states of the European Economic Area who have fulfilled the national service obligations in their state of residence

The VIE programme is run under the authority of the French Ministry for Economy and Finance and that of the Ministry for Foreign Trade.
