IT Project Officer / Manager

Job Responsibilities

Responsible for IT project life cycle management, from project preparation through go-life
Ensure project deliverables are on time, within budget and meet prescribed standards
Monitor the project progress, prepare progress report and statistics and proactively identify and escalate the potential risks to section manager
Assists section manager on the management of external service providers
Assists section manager to prepare project plan

Requirements

Degree holder in IT related disciplines
At least 4 years of project management experience in banking or financial institution
Strong background on Treasury application system and implementation/ support is preferable
Knowledge in treasury products features and user/system operations experience would be an added advantage
Strong leadership and project management skills, able to lead cross-functional business projects with sound interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
Willing to travel (e.g. China)
Excellent verbal and writing Chinese communication skills. Good command of Cantonese and English
Responsible, self-motivated and good organizational skill
Able to work efficiently and accurately under pressure, both in a team environment and individually
