SUMMARY
The Associate IOC Specialist is responsible for assisting with first-tier support and proactive monitoring of infrastructure, systems, and alerts under direct supervision. This role serves as a foundational entry point into the IOC team, focusing on developing technical troubleshooting and incident triage skills while learning standard operating procedures and enterprise technologies.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Respond to monitoring alerts and escalate issues according to documented procedures
• Follow predefined runbooks and standard operating procedures
• Assist in the identification and triage of issues across Linux, Windows, and network environments
• Document steps taken during incident response and troubleshooting
• Perform daily IOC tasks under the guidance of senior team members
• Participate in shift transitions by providing accurate updates and documentation
• Collaborate with peers to learn and grow technical skills in a 24x7 environment

EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE
• Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience and may require up to 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience
• Basic knowledge of Windows and/or Linux server administration

• Basic knowledge of Python Scripts and SQL query handling
• Exposure to networking concepts and basic troubleshooting
• Understanding of incident and change management fundamentals
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., LogicMonitor, Splunk, Grafana)
• Demonstrated ability to work within a team and take direction
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills

This position requires fluent written and oral communication in English.
