Our client is a long established firm based in Meath. They have a varied base of clients across a number of industry sectors. They provide their clients with business advice across audit, tax, and general accounts preparation. This is a progressive firm whose Partners are keen to further develop the practice. Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant who can work on their own initiative and manage a portfolio of clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering projects on time, within budget, and of high quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of Soletrader, Partnership, and Income & Expenditure Accounts
• Preparation of Limited entity companies to meet compliance standards
• Preparation Income Tax and Corporation Tax Returns
• Working with management to develop new business opportunities
• Manage a portfolio of clients, requesting records, discussing deadline dates, client queries etc.
• Responsibility for assisting junior staff and reporting to the Partners

Key Experience:

• Qualified Accountant
• A number of years' experience within a practice environment.=
• Experience in working in a fast-paced environment and the ability to meet tight deadlines
• A working Knowledge of Sage Accounts Production & Sage 50
