International Financial Data Services (IFDS) works in partnership with State Street Bank and the group is Luxembourg's leading supplier of third-party fund administration and Transfer Agency services to European Asset Managers and their clients.

Below are the primary business areas in which we offer work placement opportunities:
Dealing As part of the main hub of financial activity within the business the Dealing team Performs subscriptions, redemptions, switches, exchanges and transfers of fund data. This department works to multiple deadlines and is a fast paced and dynamic operational hub.
Settlements & Reconciliations The S&R team is the focal point for the day-to-day administration and supervision of the daily operations. They ensure that daily collection account reconciliations are performed efficiently, timely and accurately and ensure that procedures and controls are in place and are fully understood.
Registration & Remediation Onboarding new investors, the Registration team are the first line of AML (Anti Money Laundering) & KYC (Know Your Client) checks. They perform new account openings and maintenance in line with Luxembourg regulatory requirements including oversight of account set up and static data maintenance.
Investor & Client Services The Investor Services team is performing customer service support to the organization by obtaining, analyzing and verifying the accuracy of instruction information in a timely manner. They are responsible for both internal and external client engagement. Most of the team are multi-lingual and respond to client queries in specific languages. You will join other interns in a structured learning and development program that comprises on-the job and technical skills training, personal development and soft skills training. Interns who perform and exceed expectations will be considered for full time graduate positions. We are seeking to recruit bright students with energy and commitment to join our office.
Knowledge and Education: o Finance related educational degree - Finance, Business Administration, Accountancy, Economics, International Business, Private Equity and Investment Management o Candidate must have some financial knowledge of funds (equities, bonds, derivatives...) o Fluent in English- French and/or German is a plus. o Ability to work with Microsoft Office products, in particular MS Excel.
Competency Requirements: o G ood verbal and written communication skills o Good organizational and time management skills o Ability to work on own initiative to accomplish tasks. o Ability to work in a team environment. o Strong numerical skills o Ability to work under pressure.
