Business Analyst - Trading application Findur

About our client:

For one of our clients, a well-established international bank in Basel, Swisslinx is looking for an experienced Business Analyst with a good understanding of trading applications such as Findur/Endur. This opportunity is a long-term rolling contract starting as soon as possible.

The project:

You will be part of a strategic transformation program supporting the implementation of Business Process Improvements. The scope of the project is focusing on the process optimization within mainly the back-office area with all workflows being based in Findur by undertaking analysis of business processes and documentation of business requirements for the implementation in Findur.

Your responsibilities:

- Running Business process optimization and improvements initiatives by analyzing and designing business processes around trading applications
- Performing requirements gathering and translating business requirements into business and technical specifications including related workshops and documentation
- Interaction with relevant design teams about translating requirements into detailed system specifications
- Participation in the development of test plans for business applications and their execution supporting business area acceptance testing for financial messaging projects
- Interaction with the other IT groups in the organization for systems design, integration, standards and change management

Your background:

- 4+ years practical experience as a business analyst supporting business applications in a banking/financial services environment
- Knowledge of trading applications such as Findur or Endur
- Familiarity with full trade transaction lifecycle, with a focus on BO processes and experience in financial transactions and operations
- Ability to run workshops and meetings including materials in support of requirements gathering
- Effective communication with stakeholders including great presentation skills in combination with good problem solving and root cause analysis skills
- Proficient in English
- Experience with the secure software development lifecycle and electronic trading solutions is a plus
- A proven track record of participating in large, business-critical projects that delivered satisfaction to stake holders is a big asset
