As the premier supplier to our international banking client in Basel, Swisslinx are looking for an experienced Findur Business Analyst to undertake analysis of business processes and document business requirements for implementation in Findur.
This is an initial contract running for 12 months with option to extend on a long term basis based on the project road maps, with start date latest in September 2023.
This Findur Business Analyst will join a strategic transformation program and focus on the process optimization within mainly the back-office area. The BA will undertake analysis of business processes and document business requirements for implementation in Findur.
The project already started but there are things still to roll-out in the backlog for the next year with a priority in the process improvement area.
Responsibilities will include:
• Analyse and design business processes around the trading applications. Translate business requirements into business and technical specifications, employing best industry practice. Interact with the relevant design teams about translating requirements into detailed system specifications • Advise and participate in the development of test plans for business applications and the execution thereof. Coordinate and support business area acceptance testing for financial messaging projects • Interacts with the other IT groups in the organization for systems design, integration, standards and change management.
You will possess as many of the following skills as possible:
• At least four years' business analyst experience supporting business applications in a banking / financial services environment • In depth knowledge of a trading application eg Findur / Endur • Ability to analyse business needs, challenge and distil into accurate and concise requirements documentation • Be familiar with full trade transaction lifecycle, with a focus on BO processes • Ability to plan and run workshops and meetings independently, also produce materials in support of requirements gathering • Fluency in English
The following are nice to have but not mandatory:
• Experience with the secure software development lifecycle • Experience with electronic trading solutions
