Senior PHP Developer / Entwickler

For a client of ours, a well known luxury brand in the area of Bern, we are looking for a dynamic Senior PHP Developer that will be responsible for the implementation, maintenance and enhancement of their digital solutions in a very international and multicultural environment.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and provide guidance to a small team of software developers and data architects
• Implement, customize, and optimize their digital customer experience applications
• Architect the digital solution landscape
• Manage and maintain corporate websites and e-commerce solutions for headquarters and affiliated countries
• Develop tailored modules and configurations using platforms like Magento, Contentserv, Salesforce, etc.
• Provide support for to HQ and colleagues aborad regarding daily website requirements and e-commerce activities
• Gather specifications, estimate project timelines, and execute digital initiatives
• Coordinate, implement, test, and document application upgrades and patches
• Identify and optimize system performance

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Several years of experience in software and data architecture, modeling, and visualization (SQL, MS Power BI, etc.)
• Software development experience using PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Previous experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies
• Great communication skills
• Solution-oriented and creative mindset
• Very goof level of English, either French or German wuold be a plus.
