Smart Factory DevOps Engineer / Ingenieur

In this position, you are a member of the Competence Center Software. Together with other key players from the organization, you build and drive our next generation Smart Factory infrastructure pipeline. This pipeline ensures that our environments worldwide can be securely deployed, monitored and updated.
Your responsibilities

Drive the implementation of our pipelines to be able to test, deploy, monitor and update Smart Factory infrastructure on the shopfloors of our customers

Ensure that our shopfloor IoT edge systems integrate end-to-end together with the complete Smart Factory solutions of sites and our customers

Shape the infrastructure of future machine generations with Infrastructure as Code in mind

Collaborate with IoT, Cyber Security, Software, System architects and engineers to develop a secure and scalable global infrastructure platform from the cloud to machine components
Your profile

Academic background in system or software engineering (Bachelor or Technical School or similar with several years of work experience)

Communicative personality who can independently plan and also execute projects

Experience in working with different IaC frameworks in Cloud or general IT environment and willingness to apply similar principles in the Operational Technology (OT) world

Knowledgeable in the whole life cycle of Microsoft Windows based operating systems; know-how with Linux and FreeBSD OS is a plus

Experience with IP networks, network security and integration of solution networks with customer networks

Fluency in English is required, German language skills are an advantage
