Cloud Engineer

We are seeking a Cloud Engineer to join our team in Chiasso and help us build, deploy, and maintain our cloud infrastructure on AWS. As a Cloud Engineer, you will work alongside our experienced team and be responsible for assisting in the design, implementation, and support of our AWS-based systems using Infrastructure as Code methodologies.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design and implementation of AWS-based solutions using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.
• Support and maintain existing AWS infrastructure.
• Monitor AWS performance and identify opportunities for optimization.
• Work with development teams to integrate AWS services into their applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
• Familiarity with AWS services such as EC2, RDS, S3, and CloudWatch
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as AWS CloudFormation or Terraform
• Understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems and command-line interfaces
• Understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, and HTTP
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Helm
• Experience with automation and configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, or Go
