Technical Business Analyst

On behalf of our client, a major Swiss bank, Swisslinx are looking for a technical Business Analyst for a contracting position based ideally in Basel. The client is also open for the location Zurich and Ticino.

Main Responsibilities:
• You will engage with colleagues at all levels to meet business requirements
• You will be responsible for the translation of requirements into technical documentation
• You will collaborate with technologists to drive delivery within an Agile framework
• You have to conduct as-is and to-be impact analysis
• You will be contributing to reduction of all security and operational risks, in line with policies and standards
• You identify opportunities to improve our processes
• You provide L3 support to investigate production problems

Must-Haves:
• You bring ideally 3+ years of experience as a business analyst within the financial sector
• You have a solid understanding of data warehouse concepts, especially data modelling
• You are technical experienced with analytical databases (OLAP) like Oracle or DB2
• You have a strong background in SQL as well as business intelligence tools like Business Objects, Microstrategy, Tableau or similar
• You inquisitive, able to challenge effectively and manage conflicting stakeholder needs
• fluent in English and excellent communication skills
