On behalf of our client, Swisslinx is looking for an experienced HR Business Partner (60% workload) to support the Management team in all HR matters and help the organisation to become and remain future-ready by focusing on the existing workforce, e.g., reskilling and upskilling, workforce planning, succession planning and policies.
Your mission
- Ensure diversity in the workforce by hiring, engaging with, and retaining talent - Facilitate effective and digitalized onboarding process: Welcome new employees and familiarize them with processes and procedures, relevant tools and policies. Ensure employees are set up with relevant accounts and internal communication tools - Provide consultation to the line manager on coaching and career development - Analyse trends and relevant HR metrics to develop solutions, HR programs, and policies - Identify trends and needs for training programs - Develop, implement recruiting process; identify new roles, schedule interviews, and follow up to ensure successful outcomes - Ensure healthy employee relations - Develop a solid HR strategic plan for talent acquisition - Maintain a thorough understanding and knowledge of legal requirements to ensure regulatory compliance and reduce legal risks - Resolve employee issues and grievances and conduct unbiased investigations - Suggest new HR strategies, policies, and agenda for continuous improvement - Monitor and report on workforce and succession planning - Structure compensation, payroll, benefits, and other perks & packages - Act as a change agent and single point of contact for employees and managers in the business unit - Build a strong business relationship with the line management - Manage, lead and deputize the local HR Manager - Build credibility with clients by providing insight and guidance on HR or broader business issues - Make recommendations to the business structure over time - Take lead for the deployment of HR initiatives internally and globally - Acts as a point of the contact for employees and line Managers in the HQ - Define, implement and actively support the delivery of HR Processes - Actively identifies gaps, proposes and implement changes necessary to cover risks - Develop and manages local HR metrics and workforce statistics - Acts as the performance improvement driver and provokes positive changes in the people management (design succession plans, etc.)
Your background
- Bachelor's or master's degree in HR Management, business, or organizational behaviour or related field and or Certifications for Human Resource Professionals (PHR, SPHR) preferred - Digitally savviness - Deep knowledge in all personnel and HR policy administration and management - Expert in Swiss employment laws and compliance - Able to understand the business and apply consistency and value adding HR initiatives - Significant experience in supporting leaders in all HR tasks such as staffing, talent management, total rewards, employee engagement, competency frameworks, learning and development, HR metrics - Excellent skills in consulting, coaching, business acumen, influencing, and project management - Able to interpret and analyse numerical data and information - Self-starter, proactive, ensures tasks and priorities are managed and decisions are executed within a dynamic, multicultural environment - Positive attitude and a role model, with unquestioned integrity, work ethic and trustworthiness Intercultural savvy with a strong understanding of various environments (academic, industrial, government)
