Blockchain Senior Software Engineer / Ingenieur

For a client of ours, operating within the blockchain market and located in Zurich, we are looking for a talented Senior Software Engineer. A dynamic and stimulating environment with hybrid working conditions are waiting!
Responsibilities :

• Within a very international team, you will be responsible for the successful development of their leading platform
• Joining a cross-functional feature team, you implement business and technical requirements, test cases, and document your result
• You will give your contribution with the integration of a new release and support the operations team
• You'll be involved in finding the best solutions and you will contribute significantly to a good team environment

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in the role of software engineer, preferably within the financial industry
• Deep knowledge of OOP and great confidence in writing explicit, easily extendable, maintainable, and testable code
• Great understanding of the newest principles in software engineering
• Solid previous experience with Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, OpenShift, Jenkins, Helm as well as REST APIs, microservice- and event-based architecture
• Basic understanding the blockchain environment, Decentralized Finance and Distributed Ledger Technology would be a plus
• Knowledge of Jira, Confluence, Splunk, Azure and agile methodologies)
• Fluency in English
• Located or willing to relocate in Zurich in order to go to the office once a week
• Great passion for software engineering in general, great problem solving and flexible mindset.
