Senior Workplace Engineer with focus in automation & development (80-100%)

Do you enjoy keeping your finger on the pulse of technology? For our Technology division, we are looking for a Senior Workplace Engineer to develop and operate our own internal management solution for workplace & server (Own developed solution like Microsoft SSCM).

Main responsibilities:

• Independently solve tasks in the automation area.
• Integrate the needs of the engineering and operational team into the internally management solution for workplace & server VTWMS (Vontobel Windows management solution).
• Support the development, maintenance of operations and support of our VTWMS management tool.
• Developing multiple types/categories of software, including end-user applications and operating systems/utility software that provide a platform for running end user applications.

Your profile

• Completed university studies in computer science or a comparable qualification.
• At least 5 years of professional experience as an application engineer
• Very good knowledge of C# and PowerShell
• Experience in ASP.NET MVC, Entity Framework, WPF und .NET Core (Web API)
• Good knowledge of SQL Database
• Practical experience with automatization
• Good knowledge of OS installations in the client and server area
• Good knowledge of German and English
• Strong communication skills and customer orientation
• Knowledge of Telerik web controls , HTML & CSS & JavaScript, IIS, Microsoft Hyper-V/VMM as well as Microsoft Graph API/ Azure are considered an advantage
