Cloud Engineer/Azure vacancy for our Zurich based client in the financial sector.
Your tasks:

Developing, implementing and supporting Cloud computing services, including PaaS, Containerized and SaaS solutions
Designing solution architectures that support the company's corporate business strategy and enterprise information & data strategy
Assessing current business infrastructure, developing migration roadmap for the cloud, integrating existing application landscape into a cloud ecosystem, and helping migrate solutions and applications into the Public Cloud
Ensuring technology solutions are production ready and meet the defined specifications
Researching new technologies and prototyping new ideas; leading research and development efforts
Collaborating in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment, to meet security requirements and high availability in the Cloud

Your experience/knowledge:

Expert level knowledge and experience in IT systems engineering, technical knowledge and understanding of architecture, platform design and integration with large scale deployments
Hands on experience of Cloud architecture, hybrid infrastructure, distributed and highly available platforms
Excellent understanding of containerization, automation and Infrastructure as Code i.e. Helm and Terraform, microservices & microservice architectures, API based and message-based integration
Deep knowledge of Enterprise Information/Document Mgmt systems and of according capabilities and integrations
Experience with working in an Agile team setup, system capacity planning as well as with application servers and containers rings

Your soft skills:

Problem solving skills and troubleshooting experience, customer service and interpersonal skills
Strong ability to work independently and manage one's time
