First Line Control Unit Specialist dedicated to IWM

  • You will be part of the dynamic and diverse First Line Control Unit (FLCU) team, covering the whole division International Wealth Management based in the heart of Zurich
  • A unique position in which you will have the chance to deepen your experience in risk management related to Private Banking Business such as Investor Protection, Suitability & Appropriateness (Product and Client Risks), Cross Border (travel & non-travel activities, CB Manual, Licenses, etc.) and Fraud Prevention
  • In this role you are responsible for the preparation and performance of all existing Operations Control Tasks (MICOS) and the timely communication of control results and suggested corrective measures to the Relationship Managers and line managers
  • As a First Line Control Unit Specialist you will act as a sparring partner and prepare the Supervisory Controls Tasks for all Market Areas in IWM
  • You deliver the adequate qualitative information to support the Subjects Matters Experts (SME) in identifying risk patterns and discussing them collaboratively with internal partners

You Offer
  • A University degree or banking apprenticeship completed with a higher education
  • Minimum 2 years working experience in a financial institution, preferably in the risk management, audit or compliance area; knowledge of the Wealth Management business, products, and front-to-back processes would be an advantage
  • You provide a sound understanding of the regulatory landscape and good process review / risk assessment skills in a banking environment
  • An independent judgment with strong analytical and communication skills
  • You have a strong sense of responsibility and are committed to work independently and proactively with a can-do and problem solving attitude
  • You are highly motivated to build and maintain positive working relationships within the team, with management and stakeholders
  • Excellent Microsoft Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint skills and a good knowledge of Front tools
  • Fluency in English; any other market specific language skills are a distinctive advantage (German, Spanish, Italian or French)
