The person would play a key role in connecting the Central European hub business departments and HQ IT Teams and will facilitate the efficiency and advancement of their platform. Objectives and Responsibilities
In this integral role, your primary focus will be partnering with SAP and Salesforce key users to drive enhancements and optimize system functionalities. Your responsibilities will include:
- Facilitating demand management to improve and optimize system functionalities.
- Playing an active role in process definition, mapping, and design.
- Contributing your insights to solution design and specifications, ensuring feasibility.
- Defining change requests and ensuring their effective management with the application management team.
- Coordinating the implementation, collaboration, and solution testing and acceptance.
- Managing knowledge and facilitating know-how transfer through documentation updates and train-the-trainer sessions.
- Overseeing backlog management, including regular reviews, prioritization, and status tracking.
- Monitoring incident management, escalating issues for prompt resolution.
- Serving as a subject matter expert and central point of contact for system-related topics, spanning accounts payable, accounts receivable, tax accounting, G/L accounting, bank accounting, asset accounting, treasury, cost controlling and reporting, as well as value flows and finance integration with logistics.
- Coordinating initiatives for business application implementation and collaborating with business units on application selection, implementation, and support coordination.
We're seeking candidates who embody a consultant attitude, are proactive and independent in their approach. Your ability to document and effectively present complex processes to diverse audiences is crucial. In addition, you should possess a strong grasp of business applications concepts and tools. Specific qualifications include:
- Extensive SAP ECC 6.0 functional and technical expertise.
- Proven experience in multiple global SAP system implementations.
- Proficiency in comprehending ABAP code and data models, including tables and fields.
- Autonomy in analyzing implemented processes and understanding system setup and dependencies.
- Familiarity with SAP enhancement concepts, particularly user exits.
- Solid understanding and hands-on experience with cross-functional SAP tools like LSMW, background jobs, output control, SMARTFORMS/SMARTSCRIPT, SAP Query, and EDI for idoc types, monitoring, and error analysis.
- Proficiency in managing users and authorizations within SAP.
- Deep expertise in SAP customization across SAP FI, encompassing master data (customers, vendors, FI accounts), document types, posting transactions (AR, AP, G/L, Assets), open items management, automatic outgoing payments (payment formats, clearing), balance sheet and P&L reports, and SAP CO.
- Integration familiarity with SAP FI, including value flows in SD and MM, account determination, and account assignment.
- Optional general knowledge of Salesforce sales and service cloud concepts, encompassing main concepts, data objects, flows, views, lists, user management, permissions, and reporting.
- Bachelor degree in technical or business area.
- Previous Experience in the automotive industry would be a plus.
- English fluent, German and/or Spanish would be a plus.
