On behalf of our client, a super techy and innovative market leader within the mobility field, we are looking for an IT Business Partner focusing on Logistics. The person would play a key role in connecting the Central European hub business departments and HQ IT Teams and will facilitate the efficiency and advancement of their platform.
Objectives and Responsibilities In this pivotal role, you will have a varied set of responsibilities, including project management, sales, backlog management and subject matter expert responsabilities. More specifically these will include:
- Collaborating closely with SAP and Salesforce key users to enhance and optimize system functionalities.
- Playing an integral role in process definition, mapping, and design for streamlined operations.
- Contributing to solution design and specification, conducting feasibility checks to align technical capabilities with business requirements.
- Defining change requests and maintaining effective communication with the near-shore application management team (AM).
- Coordinating claim processing and overseeing various sales aspects, including orders, pricing, billing, and outbound logistics.
- Leading the coordination of initiatives related to business application implementation.
- Providing collaboration and support to business units during application selection, implementation, and testing phases.
- Facilitating knowledge transfer, updating documentation, and conducting "train the trainer" sessions.
- Managing backlog items by reviewing, prioritizing, and tracking for efficient resolution.
- Monitoring incident management by the AM, ensuring escalation and swift issue resolution.
- Serving as the subject matter expert and primary point of contact for system-related topics, including spare parts procurement, planning, purchasing, inbound logistics, inventory management, valuation, logistics operations, and warranty processes.
Requirements We are seeking an individual who embodies a consultant attitude, proactive nature, and independence. The ability to meticulously document and present intricate processes to diverse target audiences is a must. The successful candidate will exhibit a profound understanding of business applications concepts and tools, with a particular focus on SAP ECC 6.0 functional and technical expertise. Key qualifications include:
- Demonstrated experience in orchestrating multiple global SAP system implementations.
- Proficiency in interpreting and comprehending ABAP code and data models, encompassing tables and fields.
- Independent analysis capability of implemented processes, understanding system configuration, and recognizing interdependencies.
- Familiarity with SAP enhancement concepts, including user exits.
- Practical experience with various cross-functional SAP tools, such as LSMW, background jobs, output control, SMARTFORMS/SMARTSCRIPT, SAP Query, and EDI.
- Knowledge of iDoc types, monitoring, and error analysis.
- Proficiency in managing users and authorizations within SAP.
- Profound SAP customizing knowledge in SAP MM and SAP SD
- Integration familiarity with SAP FI, encompassing value flows in SD and MM, account determination, and account assignment.
- General understanding of Salesforce sales and service cloud.
- Bachelor degree in technical or business area.
- Previous Experience in the automotive industry would be a plus.
- English fluent, German and/or Spanish would be a plus.
