We’re working closely with a top five Swiss bank looking for 3 exceptional, initiative-driven, and independent IT Security Engineers to join the team (German speaking). Each focused on one of the following areas: • Cloud Security • Container Security • Database Security
Location: Zurich or St. Gallen
Employment Basis: Permanent
Working Arrangement: One to two days on-site per week, up to five if desired and flexible working hours.
Working Environment: German (B1/B2 minimum)
IT Security Engineer – Cloud Security
Day-to-day Tasks:
- Use of Microsoft Azure for the engineering of security measures and development of existing cloud security platforms
- Responsible for designing and implementing up-to-date services for cloud security, security vulnerability analysis and coordinated neutralization of vulnerabilities
- You will work with a variety of teams in order to improve the security of platforms and applications (DevSecOps)
Requirements:
- Expertise in network and application security
- Practical experience with MS Azure Cloud Services such as Iaas, Paas & Saas, and profound knowledge of the security concepts and components such as Sentinel and MS Defender
- Availability to work on-call
Nice to have:
- Prior experience with IaC using Terraform and development of CI/CD pipelines with MS Azure
IT Security Engineer – Container Security
Day-to-day Tasks:
- Use of OpenShift and Gitlab for the engineering of security measures & development of existing container security platforms
- Responsible for designing and implementing up-to-date services for container security
- You will work within a variety of teams in order to improve the security of platforms and applications (DevSecOps)
Requirements:
- Experience working with container technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes and OpenShift
- Skills in CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins and Gitlab
- Availability to work on-call
- Experience in the management, design and development of relational databases
Nice to have:
- DevSecOps and Software development experience
IT Security Engineer – Database Security
Day-to-day Tasks:
- Responsible for the engineering of database-specific security measures and help with audit, analysis, and development of secure database architectures
- Generation of technical security concepts in relation to databases
- Responsible for the ongoing database security controls, aiming to eliminate security vulnerabilities within the database environment
- Liaise with database specialists on behalf of the Cyber Security department
Requirements:
- Proficiency administrating databases using tools such as SQL Server, MySQL or Oracle Database
- Motivated learner with interest in the IT security field
- Experience writing documentation and good communication skills
- Prior experience in the management, design and development of relational databases
- Availability to work on-call
