IT System Engineer / Ingenieur (2nd Level Support)

For a bank in Zürich, the IT team is looking for a new IT System Engineer covering the entire support field (1st - 3rd Level support). After many successful business years, the IT Department is aiming to further grow their business activities, including more team members to their journey of success.

Your future responsibilities:

• 2nd level technical support to end users, responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests
• Planning, coordination and execution of technical tasks on systems
• Collaboration on compliance issues (e.g., data security)
• Support and administration of business projects
• Work on server and network environments, backup and monitoring systems, as well as on device management.
• Consulting and support in implementing specific software

Your Qualifications:

• More than 2 years of work experience in IT sector Knowledge of hardware, server virtualisation, network, software and cyber security
• Knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, database, Windows 10 and MS Office
• Having an interest in following up on IT trends and technologies
• Understanding of Switzerland's banking regulation High motivation, commitment and ability to act independently
• Team player with excellent communication and presenting skills
• Fluency (both written and verbal) in English and German
• A sound educational background with a Bachelor's degree in computer science or a similar field would be an advantage
