IT Teamleader Applications & Integration

The Integration & Databases team is responsible for two central areas of focus at our partner in Zurich. In addition to developing and operating the central platform for application integration, the team is also responsible for building, operating, and further developing the database platform (both on-premise and in the cloud). As the team leader, you will lead a 10-person team consisting of both internal and external team members. You enjoy working independently and with structure, have a strong sense of responsibility, and can maintain an overview even in complex situations.

This is your job

- You lead and develop your team both professionally and personally, and maintain contact with our partners
- You are responsible for ensuring SLA/OLA compliance and ensuring a 24/7 operation (standby) with your team
- You proactively drive the strategic development of the technologies and concepts used in the core areas of application integration and databases
- You coordinate and support projects and requirements related to application integration and data management with your team
- You actively work with the leadership team of the ICT Business Services section

What makes you stand out

- You have a degree in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable advanced education, and have several years of professional experience
- You have previous experience as a team leader in one of the areas of responsibility
- You have extensive knowledge in the field of application integration (ESB, API, AsyncAPI, etc.) and the use and provision of MSSQL and Maria DB. Additionally, you bring experience in the area of data integration (ETL, data warehousing, etc.) and understand how data is processed holistically and sustainably
- Experience in building, operating, and further developing database environments is an advantage
- You are a solution-oriented team player with a high level of initiative. With your excellent conceptual and advisory skills, it is easy for you to develop the team, work out concepts, and implement them
- You have a native German speaker, or have strong German skills
