About our client
Our client is a prominent professional investment firm backed by a single, highly successful & entrepreneurial European family with substantial financial resources. The firm has a history of identifying and developing global market leaders across a range of sectors such as industrial and technology space.
The firm's mandate is to exclusively take controlling stakes in established businesses - upper mid-cap and large companies, and drive value creation by partnering with management teams to execute organic and inorganic growth strategies.
The high-calibre investment team (5 people) seeks to bring on-board an Associate/Analyst to deliver on new deal execution - platforms and ad-on acquisitions.
What the job involves

• You will work on the origination, analysis and execution of new transactions, both platforms and add-ons across all Europe and the US
• You will support senior members of the team by building and enhancing related financial models, and lead/coordinate other due diligence streams
• Through your own initiatives and complemented by the firm's strong global network of advisors and family's rich entrepreneurial legacy, you will directly contribute to the firm's vision of building the next generation of market-leading companies

Who we are looking for

• Previous experience with an investment bank (M&A or Leveraged Finance) or within a Big 4 Consultancy (Transaction Services / Advisory, M&A)
• Private Equity experience and / or experience in a high performing PE-backed business - Corporate M&A or strategic development - is welcomed as well.
• Outstanding analytical skills and great commercial judgement paired with a genuine interest in operational topics that are critical to building significant, sustainable investment value
• As a quick-paced thinker with impeccable communication skills, you possess the drive to develop your career in private equity plus the brain power, emotional intelligence and poise to convince colleagues & management teams alike
• Fluency in English, other European languages an asset
