Asset Manager is seeking to add to the Investor Relations team – the individual is required to have credit, event driven and hedge fund experience.

PSquared is an established event driven hedge fund based in Zurich managing over $2.3bn AUM. The fund launched in July 2013, has seen considerable inflows of assets and offers exciting further growth potential. The strategies focus on cross-capital event driven situations in Europe and Asia. The role is located in Zurich, Switzerland.

We are looking to recruit an individual into our investor relations and business development team to support the future growth of the firm. Our ideal candidate would have experience working within the hedge fund industry ideally both within investor relations as well as on the hedge fund allocator side. A thorough understanding of credit, merger arbitrage and special situation investing as well as the operational workings of a hedge fund is mandatory for the role. The candidate will be expected to assist with investor queries on both the operational and investment side and fluently communicate portfolio development with investors. The position would allow the candidate to interact with a sophisticated investor base and additionally work on pitch processes. Furthermore, the candidate will have the opportunity to develop internal business initiatives.

Key Responsibilities of the role:

Manage key relationships for the firm, which includes responding to ongoing investment and operational queries
Maintain CRM database and assist with broader investor communications
Organise investor roadshows and conferences in Europe, US and Asia
Support ongoing fundraising globally across multiple products
Support internal business development initiatives

In order to qualify for the job, candidates must:

Have a strong understanding of credit, merger arbitrage and special situation strategies
Full comprehension of hedge fund operational processes and organizational structures
Be fluent in English and have excellent communication and organisation skills
In addition, you should strive in a small team environment and be very entrepreneurial
