The Policy and Governance Specialist located in our Headquarter in Zurich will be part of the Legal & Compliance Team, which offers development opportunities in a successful and diverse environment. We observe high standards of individual behaviour and business conduct and as the second line of defence, we work closely with the business to support good compliance and governance practices within the firm.
Your opportunity
- Designing the principles and processes forming the basis of Vontobel's Policy Framework
- Implementing the revised Policy Framework, including managing policy lifecycle processes and acting as quality assurance function before publication
- Proactively consulting key stakeholders on Policy Framework design to ensure continued consistency and meaningfulness
- Advising other functions on Policy Framework interpretation and supporting them to optimize existing policies in order to achieve Vontobel policy reduction goals
- Designing targeted Vontobel reporting on Policy Framework key risk indicators and performing key control assessments relating to Policy Framework implementation
- Formalizing governance principles and structures shaping the Legal & Compliance organization and Vontobel Holding
You bring
- Master of law or equivalent and compliance or risk management experience
- At least 3 - 5 years of experience as Compliance Officer or business risk manager in the Financial Services Industry or equivalent experience in consulting or auditing
- Excellent English skills
- Experience in project management and knowledge of corporate governance are a plus
