Senior Application Operations Manager

We are looking for a German speaking (at least B2) Senior Application Manager with proven experience in Operations and proficient with Linux and Windows, to ensure the smooth running of daily operations specifically in regards to the relevant Applications and compliance to the SLA's and other applicable business documents.

About our client

Our client is one of the leading global Fintech Companies Zurich. This is a permanent position where it is possible to work from home three days a week, however you will need to be based in or near Zurich.

Duties and responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

• Ensuring the smooth running of the high-security system
• Application Management duties for the high-security Encryption as a Service tool (EaaS),
Localization as a Service (LaaS) tool and additional applications
• Ensure the running and operations of the applications according to the SLA's compliances and other relevant business documents
• Pikettdienst (On-call service) one week per month

Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in IT Operations
• Proficient in Linux and Linux Patching as well as Windows
• Database knowledge in MS SQL, Postgres or Oracle
• Proven Operations experience
• Experience in data encryption or cyber security would be advantageous
• Excellent verbal communication skills in German (B2 minimum)
• Business proficiency in English
• Good technical understanding of Network, Proxy, Firewall, Linux and Automation
• Good analytical skills
