Senior Credit Risk Manager

On behalf of our trusted client, an international FinTech firm, Swisslinx is looking for a Senior Credit Risk Manager to join the team based in Zurich. The business operates within the local SME space and provides tailored solutions within foreign exchange risk management, trade finance and global payments. In this role you would take full ownership of the credit risk lifecycle within the Swiss entity and work closely with the international credit risk team as well as the Country Head Switzerland.

Your Responsibilities:
- Assess credit risks related to SMEs on the Swiss market by performing underwriting and providing reporting on risk exposure on the local market
- Perform in-depth analysis on existing clients and prospects
- Report and present to the global risk committee on the performance and risk exposure of the Swiss entity
- Define, implement and apply limits of credit risk exposure
- Liaise with legal professionals and regulators when needed
- Collaborate with the front and back office on site to ensure risks are mitigated and requirements for the onboarding of new clients are met

Your Profile:
- Prior expertise in credit risk analysis on corporate clients/SMEs in the Swiss market
-Extensive track record (minimum 5 years) in the credit risk/underwriting field
- Prior work experience in FX risk or trade finance would be advantageous
- Complete Excel proficiency
- Fluency in both English AND German or French
