Senior Database Administrator

The Integration & Databases team of our partner in Zurich is responsible for two central areas of focus. In addition to further developing and operating the central platform for application integration, the team is also responsible for building, operating, and further developing the database platform (On-Prem and Cloud).

As a database administrator with a focus on MS SQL, you will support your colleagues in comprehensive data management, from requirements engineering to ensuring operational security and further development.

Your job responsibilities include:

• Implementing, operating, and maintaining the database platform, as well as scaling and monitoring database resources.
• Providing databases for projects and supporting project participants with your expertise.
• Supporting team development with your open, honest, and empathetic approach.
• Being part of the database on-call service.

Qualifications:

• A degree in computer science, business informatics, or equivalent education.
• Solid expertise in building, operating, and further developing highly available MS-SQL configurations (AlwaysOn).
• Scripting experience with T-SQL and in the PowerShell area, experience in the MySQL/MariaDB area is an advantage.
• Actively participating in the further development of the database platforms.
• Excellent German and good English language skills.
