We are currently seeking a Senior Manager with a strong focus on (Business Model) Innovation & Experience Design to drive our clients’ transformation initiatives - according to our Human@center, Technology@speed and Innovation@scale principles. This role offers the opportunity to utilise your knowledge, passion and experience in the Health Sciences, Consumer Products and/or Advanced Manufacturing/Mobility sectors. Your key responsibilities
Building awareness and positioning of the growing IXD (Innovation & Experience Design) Competency in the Swiss market - with focus on internationally operating and large enterprises
Identification and generation of new leads and opportunities (pipeline) in the defined sectors (Health/Lifesciences, Consumer Products, Advanced Manufacturing/Mobility) and with prioritized target customers
Development of comprehensive project proposals based on our solutions and client needs together with other team members
Preparation and execution of customized client pitches and proposal presentations - including negotiation up to the closing of client engagements
Leading project teams of different sizes in the realization of innovation, experience design and transformation projects.
Ensure quality of deliverables as well as defined success criteria on assigned projects.
Developing and maintaining relevant relationships in the internal and external Innovation & Experience Design ecosystem in the defined sectors and clients.
Develop assigned employees (counselees) according to the EY IXD career framework.
Collaborate with other EY teams to generate long-term value for people, clients and society and continuously develop the solution portfolio
Skills and attributes for success
Methodological expertise and practical experience in Innovation (e.g., Design Thinking, Lean Startup, Business Model Innovation, Strategic Foresight) and Experience Design (e.g., User Research, Human Centered Design Principles, Design Systems, Customer Journeys)
Expertise in Digital Transformation in the defined sectors (Health Sciences, Consumer Products, Advanced Manufacturing/Mobility)
Enterprise Architecture & Innovation: Expertise in designing enterprise architectures, innovating processes, and driving technology-led change.
Team Leadership: Demonstrated ability in creating, guiding, and developing high-performance teams.
Client Management: Robust skills in managing relationships with international clients’ people.
Strategic Thinking & Problem Solving: Exceptional ability to strategize and resolve complex problems, with a focus on creating logical solutions, identifying issues, and managing vast amounts of complex information.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication capabilities, with fluency in English and German.
Project Management: Strong project delivery skills to manage and implement complex projects for key clients.
Professional Consulting: Extensive (10+ years) experience as an innovation/design consultant for high-profile clients with a renowned consultancy/agency .
Ability to learn new ideas and capabilities: Ability to rapidly assimilate new ideas and information through self-driven learning and research.
