To strengthen the system engineering team of our client, an international company and leading development and production partner for industrial components, we are looking for a

(Senior) Microsoft System Engineer

Your responsibilities:
In this role you advise internal stakeholders and are responsible for solution implementation and support in the areas of server, network and client infrastructure. Furthermore, you work closely with the transformation team to technically evaluate and implement digitization and automation projects it operates the infrastructure based on state of the art solutions/technologies and work close together with leading providers in all network and security related areas.

You will also take on other responsibilities such as:

• You find and test new systems and technologies
• You observe and maintain various existing systems and are in close contact with our infrastructure provider
• Optimization and adaptation of IT services in the infrastructure area (design and build) never happen without your input
• You manage technical documentation and concepts
• You constantly monitor and optimize the provision of services in terms of quality, effectiveness and efficiency and ensure a smooth process together with the team

Your profile:
To cope with the tasks, you have several years of experience in working in a similar role with focus on Microsoft technology. You have a higher education in the field of computer science, business informatic, Information Systems or equivalent education/further education in a related field. A valid existing permanent B-work-permission for Switzerland or an EFTA-citizenship is mandatory.

In addition, you can demonstrate knowledge of the following points:

• You are well versed in Microsoft Servers/Clients
• You have experience in maintaining networks and configuring active devices such as routers, switches and firewalls
• You worked in a corporate IT environment
• You are well-versed in managing Active Directory and Group Policy Management
• You have experience in virtualization and experience with Microsoft Intune
• Very good command of English, German is an asset
• Problem-solving-oriented approach with listening and questioning skills
• Independent and structured way of working
