Test Automation Consultant / Berater

As the premier supplier to our client, one of the most established financial institutions in Switzerland, we are looking for an experienced Test Automation Consultant.

Task Description:
• You will work as part of the development team to carry out in-sprint testing activities.
• You co-ordinate with different test teams both inside and outside the organization to ensure optimal quality at various testing stages namely System and System Integration Testing
• You will design Test Scenarios using Gherkin and get them validated with the PO/BA
• You will be responsible to automate the test scenarios designed at appropriate level : API or UI. Design should be highly flexible, re-usable, and modular.
• You define, create and maintain the test data needed for testing
• You detect bugs and see to the successful closure
• You support the Product Owner/Business Analysts during User Acceptance Testing phase

MUST-HAVES
• At least a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or similar plus a minimum of 8 years of test automation experience, ideally within Financial Services
• Solid hands on exposure on automating REST. GQL will be an added advantage
• Excellent Know-how of Testing frameworks - Cucumber, Robot, Junit test framework. Experience in developing custom frameworks is a must.
• Know-how of Java, Kotlin, GraphQL, REST will be a definitive advantage
• Hands on experience with Docker, Kubernetes , Openshift will be a clear advantage
• Excellent communication skills in English. German will be an advantage.
