Controller - Private Equity

Swisslinx is looking for a Controller for one of our clients, an international Private Equity group in Zug. In this challenging role you would be assisting the Group CFO and Group Controller in ensuring the robust and reliable day-to-day operation of the finance department for Switzerland and Europe. The ideal start date for this candidate is as soon as possible.

Your Responsibilities:
- Day-to-day operations and financial management of a Swiss holding company and sub holdings
- Work closely with the Group CFO and Group Controller
- Liaise with the finance counterparts within the group
- Responsible for the tracking of investment, cashflow, benchmark performance, preparation and filing of financial statements
- Responsible for compliance, preparation and coordination in regards to tax
- Ensure compliance with laws and regulations
- Train and support the accountant as well as the rest of the team

Your Profile:
- 5+ years experience in accounting/controlling/finance
- Solid understanding of tax, accounting, financial processes and regulatory environment related to a Swiss financial holding
- Full fluency in English and German
- Prior experience with various accounting and portfolio management software
- Strong degree of flexibility and ability to prioritize strategically
- Masters degree in accounting or finance with additional accounting credentials preferred
