System Development Bioengineer

On behalf of our client, a leading pharmaceutical company based in the Zug area, Swisslinx is looking for a System Development Engineer to join their team.

We look for someone with practical knowledge and direct experience with medical diagnostic environment, IVD systems or PCR-based assays

Start date: asap
Duration: 6 months (with possible extension)
Location: Zug area
Workload: 100%
Hybrid model: Mainly on-site. Punctual home office possible

Your mission:

- Plan, design and execute, independently, project tasks and work packages
- Troubleshoot, investigate root cause, verificate the system and produce feasibility studies involving HW parts, reagents or consumables
- Analyse data, statistics, project documentation and present in team meetings
- Work in S1 and S2 biosafety labs following quality and compliance regulations
- Interact with relevant stakeholders in other functional areas such as operations, post
market surveillance, customer support, regulatory and quality

Your profile:

- Degree in life sciences, biotechnology, biology, chemistry or equivalent
- Previous or first hands-on experience in medical diagnostic environment. Preferably in-vitro diagnostic systems or PCR-based assays
- Interest in the resolution of technical problems. Strong troubleshooting skills and "Systems thinking" mindset with a multidisciplinary approach
- Fluency in English. German is nice to have.
