Your Duties - Handling of European VAT for different VAT registrations as well as different entities (Vat returns, EC Sales, EC Purchases, Intrastat filing)
- Training of the commercial as well as the operational team members
- Keeping track of new developments and requirements and preparing the organization accordingly
- Checking and processing invoices with regard to VAT requirements
- Maintaining and enhancing documentation of the Internal Control System
- Responsibility over maintaining OECD documentation in relation to the local file and the master file
- Booking payment orders in the accounting software (J.D. Edwards)
- Handling of the monthly bank reconciliation
- Supporting monthly, quarterly and year-end closing processes
Your Profile - Minimum of 5 years professional experience in Finance and Accounting - ideally in a multinational corporation or fiduciary service
- Certification in Finance and Accounting (Fachausweis in Finanz- und Rechnungswesen), Certification in international VAT or equivalent degree
- Profound knowledge in handling MS Excel
- You thrive working in a team as well as independently
- You are known for your accurate and reliable way of working and proof yourself to be resilient and flexible while working under pressure or under tight deadlines
- Fluent English skills are mandatory, German is highly desirable
