Senior Financial Analyst (12-month contract)

The Role: The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for the finance management support and act as business partner to various business divisions within S&P Global.

The Skills: The ideal candidate should have experience working as business partner in the organization. Strong analytical mindset and interpersonal skills are essential to manage multiple stakeholders. You should be independent, highly motivated and committed to the task, delivering results in accordance with the S&P standard. Due to nature of the role, the individual should be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide commercial finance support to the activities of business, including but not limited to budgeting, forecasting and modelling the financial outcomes of strategic initiatives
  • KPI tracking and reporting
  • Analyse and present business performance to business leaders
  • Initiate and perform value-add analysis to drive efficiency in business
  • Ensure all reporting requirements by head office are met in a timely manner
  • Ad-hoc projects

Qualifications:
  • Degree or professional qualification in Accounting recognized by ICPAS
  • At least 7 years' experience in finance/accounting roles, with minimum 5 years' experience in Financial Planning & Analysis role.
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skill is a must and proficiency in BI tools will be an advantage
  • Independent, highly motivated and committed
  • Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
