System Engineer job in Singapore: Manage large scale Windows server setup for storage and virtualisation.

Your new role

• Manage and configure enterprise-level Windows server infrastructure for storage and virtualisation
• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert and provide consultancy and advise on the best practices for storage and backup solutions
• Review and develop virtualisation strategies to improve system and server performance
• Work with automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet or Chef to monitor and maintain server and backup performance
• Liaise and manage external vendors to help streamline and improve server and system operations

What you'll need to succeed

• Minimally 5 years of proven experience with Windows Servers and Systems
• Hands-on technical experience deploying and configuring large scale server infrastructure in a virtualised environment
• Technical knowledge on hyper-converge platforms as well as back up and storage solutions
• Strong experience and familiarity with automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet or Chef
• Experience with shell scripting in Bash or Python is highly advantageous
• Technical certifications such as ITIL, MCSE, VCP are preferred
• Due to the nature of the role being government projects, only Singaporean applications can be accepted
