Job Description
The Director will play a key role in the development and management of the Trust Company's client relationships, business operations, and team leadership. The successful candidate will contribute to the strategic growth of the business, ensure the delivery of high-quality fiduciary and trust services, and support the management and development of staff. An ideal candidate will have a strong legal background, combined with experience in trust, fiduciary, private client, or wealth management services.

The successful candidate will contribute to the strategic growth of the business, ensure the delivery of high-quality fiduciary and trust services, and support the management and development of staff. An ideal candidate will have a strong legal background, combined with experience in trust, fiduciary, private client, or wealth management services.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Relationship Management & Business Development
- Develop, maintain, and strengthen relationships with high-net-worth individuals, families, intermediaries, family offices, and professional advisers.
- Act as a trusted adviser to clients on trust, fiduciary, succession, governance, and wealth structuring matters.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in line with the Company's strategic objectives.
- Represent the Company at client meetings, industry events, and professional networking opportunities.
- Lead client onboarding processes and oversee the ongoing management of client relationships.
- Leadership & Team Management
- Support, mentor, and develop members of the trust administration and support teams.
- Foster a collaborative, client-focused, and high-performance culture.
- Assist in resource planning, recruitment, training, and performance management.
- Provide technical guidance and oversight on complex client matters.
- Operational & Business Management
- Support the day-to-day management and overall operation of the Trust Company.
- Contribute to the implementation of business strategy, operational improvements, and growth initiatives.
- Participate in management meetings and contribute to decision-making processes.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory, risk management, AML/KYC, and corporate governance requirements.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Qualifications & Experience
- Qualified lawyer, legal professional, or accountant preferred.
- Significant experience within a trust company, fiduciary services provider, private client practice, family office, or wealth management environment.
- Strong knowledge of trust, fiduciary, corporate, and private client structures.
- Proven track record in client relationship management and business development.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to contribute to business growth.
- Fluent English required; French strongly preferred. Additional languages are an advantage.
