Due to growth, we are looking for an Analyst to join the team.



Reporting to the LPS Data Lead, you will provide hands-on analytical and data support across LPS's monoline facilities and wider Lockton portfolio solutions initiatives. The primary focus of the role will be to:

• Continue building and maintaining the data infrastructure underpinning Lockton Portfolio Solutions monoline facilities.

• Support opportunity scoping through the interrogation and modelling of premium and claims data.

• Support the Data Lead in the preparation of high-quality data packs and submissions for insurance markets.

• Build and maintain reporting and dashboards to monitor the performance of LPS facilities.

• Provide analytical support across a range of LPS strategic initiatives.




Candidate Profile



You should have the following experience:

• End-to-end development of Power BI reports, including ETL, data modelling, DAX expression writing and report creation.


• Proficiency in SQL development and good practices in query writing and optimisation.


• Good understanding of relational databases and data architecture.


• Advanced Excel, including Power Query and Power Pivot.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights.


• Strong communication skills - able to present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.


• Experience of working within the insurance sector

Desirable skills include:

• Familiarity with London Market data processes, including BDX, Xchanging or Vipr.


• Experience working with large, multi-source datasets and building data pipelines.


• Knowledge of Python for data analysis and automation.


• Experience building automated reporting solutions or data workflows.


• Hands-on experience using Databricks for analytics and reporting workflows
